Jehro’s I Want Love & Invisible Children

My girlfriend had turned me on to Jehro a couple of years ago and I instantly fell in love with the music. There music always put me at peace, but I would always listen to it when I was in the car with a million things on my mind. I would find myself singing along to the choruses, but never really listening to all the lyrics. If you asked me what the song, “I Want Love” was about, I would have told you something like someone searching for or realizing the true essentials of life (Love, Food and Shelter). One day almost three years later, the lyrics finally got through my think skull and I heard the story of a young boy becoming a child soldier because it was the only way he could survive.
This song truly moves me, once to a relaxed peaceful mindset and now to a state of action. I encourage everyone to check out Invisible Children, they are a fantastic organization working to raise awareness, provide education and help change theses hard hit war-torn communities.
